Own colours and own canvas
Retrospective at the BFI
Ahead of the retrospective at the BFI, I decided to post a little prompt of why David Lynch might think "sound is almost like a drug"
Djokovic's pod
I am convinced that if I used the same pod as Djokovic to increase circulation and improve athletic performance, I would get hooked on the thing. I like the idea of sitting in this thing like the guy in the photo and talking on the phone. It's on the only privacy you can get these days. They should supply them readily in shopping centres and the general streets of London.

fake sun
This monday saw the installation of a fake sun on Trafalgar Square. After raising my eyebrows a few times at various intervals, I came to the conclusion that this is what London needs and if we can get hold of more (maybe above this very computer) then I think we would all benefit from the light. Light and sun are the two most underrated powers and we only really apprectiate them when they have vanished which, in London's case, happens over an arduously long period. Hail the fake sun...

i'm sorry I am
This morning I'm sorry
for whatever it's worth,
i'm sorry for being so sorry
a state
and sorry I am for punching you
in your most delightful head
and knocking out your peachy smile
and biting your serenity
and kicking in your bouncing heart
and beating your every true word.

i'm sorry for being so sorry

Woody Allen is on at the BFI now
"By the summer of 2012, the majority of the televisions you see in stores will have Google TV embedded on it. Google TV offers access to 150 apps developed for television and a "more TV-like" YouTube experience. The 55in LG set, which will arrive in the UK next year, will come with 3D glasses."

After the sweeping popularity of pop-up restaurants in London, their sour decline has meant a gap in the ever receding recession, so two chefs are expanding on the idea of NO -choice restaurants as the way to your belly and your wallet.

London and a Year
Brian Leli is an American in London who has chosen a particularly turbulent time to come and spend a year in the city and his photos reflect his very dark sentiments about the place...
"I sometimes imagine that the souls of the lost are compelled to walk through its streets perpetually. One feels them passing like a whiff of air.”
